The loss of a loved one is one of the most emotional experiences that will affect our lives at one point or another.

Introducing ASHES AND CHARCOAL PORTRAITURE - a beautiful and unforgettable tribute in a quality charcoal portrait, infused with the cremated ashes of your loved one.

I'll need a small portion (a teaspoon) of your loved ones ashes where they will be mixed with refined charcoal powder.

Ashes will need to be sealed in a small container, bank bag or similar baggie with their name written in permanent marker and sent via Postnet to Postnet at clients cost.

All shading of the portrait will consist of the ashes mixture and all portraits are captured on high quality Fabriano acid-free paper. Once a portrait is complete, it will be sprayed with an artist fixative. This will preserve and protect the portrait surface, lock in the ashes and the portrait will last for generations.

Completed portraits are securely sealed in a tube before being posted and all surplus ashes will be returned. A high resolution photo of your loved one should be emailed or sent via WhatsApp and I will give you an estimated completion date (approximately 3 to 4 weeks depending on workload).

I will need a 50% deposit of the total price in the form of EFT or cash payment.
